Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is an item that will make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's photo disc and can be given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be put in weapons, armor trinkets, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be placed into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer bonus effects or attributes when the equipment is utilized. The item being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot to accommodate the component, and most upgrade components require the item to be upgraded to be above an amount. The majority of upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name into Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components added to an equipment piece will be visible in the tooltip of the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures and ornaments, fractions, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and view these special characters as well as standard symbols such as em and en dashes, as well in registered trademark symbols.
Each Glyph provides an initial boost in stats for the character. It also includes up to four secondary stats that affect the radius of the glyph on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a %-increase which is multiplied once other bonuses have been applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate them. This will bring up a new window that displays the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the item you have selected. Note that only the right type of Glyph can be applied to the selected item in that each weapon, piece of jewelry or armor piece can have distinct sets of Glyphs.
You can upgrade your Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it can be upgraded using the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The upgrade of a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide the stated bonus and also boost all the other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs where they will be most beneficial to your build, and this is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonuses if certain conditions can be met.
Click the cycle widget to alter the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further by choosing an option under "Entire Font": for example, punctuation displays only punctuation glyphs; Math symbols restricts the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you create a new account to give yourself more chances to play the character or weapon you are interested in. It can aid in your progress to higher levels or to obtain more loot, for example, the best weapon for your character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like regardless of their strength. This could be because they like the character's style or their personality.
